Mammoth Mighty Five Of Utah Are Awaiting Your Visit

Bryce Canyon National Park      Photo by Jenny Uhling Indeed the Mighty Five are awaiting your visit this year 2021. It's been quite a ride and a nasty one with COVID-19 and we're all itching and hoping for some good times to roll in. Sunshine desert and landscapes galore await visitors from all over the world. Especially the Mighty Five - Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park - Canyonlands National Park - Capitol Reef National Park and Zion National Park.  Each one has something special to offer, but all have a lifetime of memories that are priceless once experienced. If you love red rock country, hoodoos, dry heat, deserts and natural landscapes well...Southern Utah has you covered.  Zion National Park is the southern most destination near to Spring City and St. George. Now if you enjoy the night life, I'd pick that one, because you're about only 120 miles or 193 kilometers away from Las Vegas, Nevada . If you're a good driver and don't stop...

Renown Shakespeare Festival and Amazing landscapes for outdoor enthusiasts is the winning combination

Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, Utah will be here very soon. For all the Bard lovers and medieval dramatists that enjoy a bit of cultural enlightenment stay tuned! Cedar City is great for many things, but two of the most popular are its annual Shakespeare Festival and the beautiful red rock country that surrounds the southern Utah city. Starting in June and running till late August nine plays will presented and enjoyed by many. Of the nine plays, four of them will be written by Shakespeare.  William Shakespeare    Photo by Mike Birdy The part about the Shakespeare Festival is that it all happens during the summertime months and with that said Cedar City is surrounded by so many beautiful outdoor attractions like the Cedar Breaks National Monument. Only about 44 minutes away or 34 miles, you can definitely plan out a full day of seeing the Monument and then be back in time for a Shakespearean play in the evening.  Most plays start in the evening and the time you h...

If you're looking for a quick vacation and most importantly want to get away from the cold weather, then St. George is it. The climate is always a little warmer down south in St. George. The city is also common for having a lot of retired people from Salt Lake City move down there, because the warm weather does well on their aging bones. It is kind of like the western version of Florida for New Yorkers. If people on the west coast want to get away they usually think of Florida. West of the Mississippi there are many choices when it comes to outdoor recreation. Here in Utah...St. George is the destination for weekenders and outdoor enthusiast...
